Getting some delicious fibre by eating the kiwi fruits with the skin still on
I too love kiwi fruits! Particularly this variety

Reminder that this is the little gems thread i.e. post good things

Hey Bri, you accidentally quoted my post, I suggest you go back and quote the correct post! :) and then take a big ol' bite of a kiwi fruit! Golden kiwi fruit if you dislike the fur, otherwise a super quick dip in some water will make it easy enough to bite through the fur

Taking a bit of one after removing the skin sounds like a good idea

That deep, refreshing, dreamless sleep you get after doing heaps of work/exercise/activity in one day.

I disliked kiwi fruit as a child.  Then as an adult I tried one without skin, and it was just OK.  Then I found with skin it was amazingly good.

Sounds like an incredibly effective manoeuvre to prevent his team from getting hit by the ball - thats one devious nephew!

I saw dolphins and seals near Sorrento last week.  No olives, though.

Hearing of all those doctors, nurses and other health professionals fighting on the front lines, without the privilege of going into quarantine or lock-down like the rest of us have the choice to do. Not all heroes wear capes! ♡

If their owner doesn't appear in 15 minutes I'm legally allowed to keep them...right?

Maybe not a gem for whoever lost them but I found two beautiful lost doggos who are giving me lots of cuddles and destroying my only tennis ball which I forgot I had whilst we wait for a ranger to pick them up. I was meant to be studying but this is much better. They were wary at first but they're so affectionate now they've gotten used to me. One of them is apparently used to sleeping on beds and seems offended that I keep kicking her off mine but she has a wet butt.

Update: Rangers came to pick them up just before the owners messaged me so they should be back home soon but the owners are gonna get hit by shelter fees rip. I miss them already </3

I managed to score a small pack of toilet paper. 😍

It's been the first time since the whole TP saga started that any one member of my family (there's 6 of us in the house) has been able to 😅
