Title: Text Books for Study
Post by: marstac on May 09, 2019, 12:30:54 pm
Hi Elyse,
Do you think that studying the ATAR notes book as as well as class notes are enough for the HSC? Should I also summarize the school text book? I just find that too many sources are quite overwhelming. What do you suggest? Thank you :)

I'm no Elyse, but I'll answer your question anyway :-)

I touched on your question in the legal question thread here, but what you have should be enough as the ATARNotes books are a quick summary of all course content excluding options (I think don't quote me on this).

Personally, I only had class notes (thank you amazing teacher) and drew my LCMs from a bunch of other sources including an online textbook from school I can't remember the name of. I think you should start with the AN book and class notes, and if you need more sources, go and search for them then. That way, you won't be as overwhelmed.

I hope this helps :-)
