Seeing as the VCAA have finally changed this subject to Specialist 1/2, is there a need for the sub-forum?

Yep, change its name to spesh 1/2 like VCAA have. Incidentally, I'd go one step further and say there is no need for the SACE/WACE boards  ;)
but isn't mc47 from WACEland?

I think AN is doing a great job in terms of Facebook promotion. The ATAR Notes HSC page, for example, has 20,000+ 'likes.' The HSC members will come in time.

I'll say removal is better (seeing that there isn't "much difference" between 1/2 and 3/4)  :P

Lol, we will be, but you'll notice there's also barely any content on the forums, so not much point promoting emptiness :P. HSC content is about to explode, and we will push on Facebook when that happens.

I usually ask my Specialist 1/2 questions in 3/4 sub-forums..

(it wasn't meant to be a joke.)

They're related, sure.

But like, 50% off 1/2 is completely different to 3/4.
