Concurrent Diploma WAM

Stop 1 has been very unresponsive so I'm turning to AN for help...

I'm thinking of doing a concurrent diploma in maths (statistics/stochastic processes) alongside my Bachelor of Science. However my concern is that I know concurrent diplomas have a separate WAM. My maths subjects has been my best in terms of scores at uni and I am worried that if I do a diploma, those subjects will count towards my diploma WAM instead and cause my science WAM to plummet. Can anyone confirm whether this could actually happen?

2022: Bachelor of Science (Mathematical Economics) @ ANU

The maths subjects that you've already done will only count towards the concurrent diploma WAM if you cross-credit them, meaning they would count towards both your bachelor and diploma WAMs. Otherwise, they won't count towards your diploma WAM.
