I have never seen this thread before and considering I've been around for a while, I'm probably no longer entitled to an introduction but I want to do one anyway cuz it seems fun.

Anyway: Hiiii.

You don't need to know my name, my high school, my age, or my grades. All you need to know is I go to a school somewhere over the rainbow in Victoria; you can call me HopefulLawStudent or HLS depending on your mood. I'm secretly aiming for a 99.unobtainable ATAR, have an intense dislike for uber-competitive people and hope to attend Sydney University next year to study law (duh) and commerce. My friends think I intend to go to Monash next year and I have made no effort to contradict them because I know they'll make me feel bad about life if I do. I look forward to leaving behind the trauma of VCE after exams finish.

Also, I was secretly (not so secretly if you count the whole year level being in on the joke) unofficially married to Math last year; we were in a very serious relationship for 12 years and we spent a great deal of time together last year. Unfortunately, we divorced late last year, right after the math exams due to irreconcilable differences.

Well then  :P

Hey guys,

I joined halfway through december 2015, and by now I think most of you know me quite well (hopefully  :P). I hangout around the maths and science boards, seeking assistance or just contributing towards an answer. I am intending to drop biology next year, and continue on with UMEP maths (and maybe for a bit of fun, do MUEP maths  ;D). My current VCE aim is to improve in my not-too-bad/ average-marked subjects this year (English....), which is because I am aiming to get a 99.95 ATAR in Year 12 (not trying to be concieted- it's not just me, so many other people are also aiming for such an ATAR).

What I think of the community?
- obliging- students help one another when in need of assistance
- quite caring (so many people try to boost one another's confidence, as if they are a part of the situation too)

There is a whole list of stuff I can say and the main point is that AN is a great community  :)

Hope to see you around,

I feel confident that I haven't already posted in this (my apologies if I have)... I should take my own advice and probably introduce myself! My name's Aaron and as you can probably tell i've been around on AN for quite a while now (since I was in Year 12, which was 2012!). Three years on from completing my VCE, I currently hold a Bachelor's degree in IT (Computing) and currently completing my Masters in Teaching at Monash (currently training to be a Computing and Maths teacher - if I had it my way, it'd only be Computing :P)

In my spare time (whatever spare time I can manage to get), I program/code random things and play solo PC games (not really into the whole multiplayer hype). In addition, I am really interested in AFL (go the roos!)

For most of my time on AN, i've just been a general lurker posting here and there, but more recently I mod the VCE Technology boards (which contains quite alot of inactive sections :P) and I also mod the universities section (General Uni Discussion, Uni Boards - Monash, Melb, etc.) as well.

For the last year of my undergrad, I became a tutor in Computer Science primarily working with first year students teaching basic programming and basic Linux/UNIX operations (seriously, best job and experience ever!). I'm currently registered on the casual register for the FIT (Faculty of IT) at Monash for Semester 2 to become a tutor there as well (but at this stage nothing is confirmed).

Hope to see you all around the forums. Feel free to PM me if you ever need assistance!

So I've just been looking through the earliest threads throughout this forum and found there was an introduction thread.
I feel like I haven't introduced myself yet so I will now :)
My name is aspiringantelope :)
Transitioning into Year 10 next year (2019) and going to take on two Unit 1/2s.
Currently have aspirations to study Biomedicine in the future.

Hopefully this forums attracts more and more users as it grows :D

I feel like the Make Your First Post thread has kinda overtaken this anyway as the Introductions thread....

P.S - My intro was the last post, 2 years ago. Holy moly. I think a nat/admin needs to un-sticky this and/or close it, given what i've just mentioned above. how things have changed since that intro, lol

I see but this was the apparent first thread that had more than 1 page? According to early users.
So wouldn't that be something like special?
