the question was "describe the role and function of the Children's court" but how do I answer the function part? do I say how it deals with matters or something else?

-The role of the Children’s Court is to deal with matters pertaining to children.

-All proceedings are done in an informal matter so it’s easy to understand for the children involved.

-Normally, the names and parties involved in Children’s court cases cannot be published, unlike in other courts.

-In criminal law, their main focus is to rehabilitate the offender to ensure the best possible outcome.

-The court also deals with children who are in need of care and protection, under the Family Division.

-(optional, depends if it's more than two marks -- i never included this in my answers)There are also special services such as the Children’s Court Clinic and the Children’s Court liaison officer, which are both there to give advice to the community.
