Title: Japanese Study Techniques
Post by: lamh21 on October 05, 2020, 09:11:11 pm
How does everyone study for each Japanese Assessment task! Let me know!
For me personally, I've been using Anki and find it pretty useful. If any of yous have questions on Anki, let me know also!
Thanks! And best of luck for everyone in 2021!

For me, I felt like a lot of preparation was memorising stuff.
-for written essays I'd memorise them (or at least the structure of the text types) write out parts a few times or go through and highlight key points and grammar patterns I want to remember to include.
-for oral sacs I'd record my voice saying the dialogue and listen to it, or practice with a classmate by asking each other the interview questions and taking turns answering. (also write dialogue beforehand on cue cards).
-For listening/reading, make sure you are familiar with all the vocab for that topic, and make sure you are comfortable with the grammar patterns. And for reading and answering know how to rewrite sentences slightly different so you aren't copying exactly from the text, eg swap から to ので and visa versa, or change the order of ~たり, ~たり etc.
Good luck!
