How did everyone go?!

I didn't think it was too bad, yourself?
I made dumb mistakes throughout a bit of 14-16, but overall I'm hoping for around 90ish raw.
What does everyone thing the b6 cutoff and scaling will be like this year?

Someone already put up the paper lol

Note: If NESA requests this to be taken down, I'll be forced to comply. Juggling MX2 alongside this. Please point out any mistakes.

Note: If NESA requests this to be taken down, I'll be forced to comply. Mostly gonna go backwards for now, but I'm also gonna juggle MX2. Please point out any mistakes.

Apologies for the slowness. This is surprisingly hard juggling two subjects simultaneously!

Isn’t question 13 part (a) = sinx(cosx-1) as opposed to how you factorised it?
I could be wrong though

Yeah I saw that! Also for part b) it should be minus 2 × 20 ×20

Also wouldn’t the final answer to the financial question be 24 not 25? Because the question asks how many times can a FULL withdrawal of $80000 be made. So instead of rounding up the final answer for n, shouldn’t it be rounded down?

It's fine as written :)

That's either okay, or since been corrected :)

Yes, you're right here! Definitely should be 24, not 25.

Thanks for the solutions!
fun_jirachi I think you may have made an error for Q12 Ciii and Q 12 d

Q12 C iii)
Shouldn't it be 54 days, subbing this into L(t) gives 119 leaves, whereas subbing 55 days gives 91 leaves

EDIT: Is this because there is 100 trees at 54.3 days. Thus it needs to be day 55 for there to be less than 100 leaves. If so I wrote 54 in the exam (I had the decimal places above, do you think I will lose a mark?). Although there aren't 100 leaves for either 54 or 55 so shouldn't it have been left as a decimal?

Q 12d
The answer should be (3/2)In(10)

RuiAce,
I think you have a error for 13b)
The 70pi/9 = 24.4 so the perimeter has to be larger...
I get around 47.37cm

Also what do you think 90-92 raw mark will align to?  :)

There were some corrections I implemented later last night but didn't post to confirm that I had. Will address the remainder now.

Q16 - with the finance, totally did't register the wording last night, oops
