Which subject should I drop?

Hi, sorry if this doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, but I’m currently at the end of yr 11 and I’m doing 14 units but will need to drop to 12 or 13 units as there are too many units for me to focus on.
I would like to go into an engineering or medical field and am aiming for a 97 or above atar.
The two subjects I’m tossing up between are PDHPE, which I like and am going very well in, and extension 1 English which I also like too, and going okay in too.

My subjects currently are:
- Maths advanced
- Maths extension 1
-  Physics
- Chemistry
- Engineering studies (accelerated)
- PDHPE
- English advanced
- English extension 1

But basically I’d like to use the time of dropping one of the subjects, to focus on chemistry or extension maths, while also not compromising scaling + marks. I was told that an extension subject is about the same amount of work as a 2 unit subject. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

What's up man, very indecisive, but straightforward and you know what you want. Similar to me lol.
Honestly, I do have a subject which I kind of like but then you gotta think short-term and long-term. If PDHPE is 'fun' and you're doing well in it, does it really get you extra ATAR points such as Uni prerequisites? You gotta decide between engineering or medicine (those are very broad, different industries). Also think about your co-hort, if you're cohort is bad, better to drop it unless you're VERY confident you can rank in the top 10. The minimum for me is 11 units tbh, drop both if you feel like you have to. Also, do you do tutoring for Chemistry? Just curious.
