Physics News and Research

Physics isn’t just about finding out how fast your spring-loaded trolley cart can be pushed from one side of the table to the other or about magnets (okay, I fib- there’s lot of news about magnets in this post :P ). I plan to show y’all what physics can really do! :)

Recently…
Nanoknots brings Lord Kelvin’s vortex theory to light. (Phys.Org)

US researchers find that ferromagnets could be made stronger with the addition of non-magnetic elements. (Phys.Org)

Molecular sunscreen could be a thing in the near future. (Phys.Org)

2D magnets have been found. (ScienceDaily) (This one’s a bit older news-wise, but still interesting ❤ )

Could this be the end of cracked phone screens? (ScienceDaily) (Also a bit older, but still relevant ❤ )

10 Earth-size planets have been found by the Kepler microscope. (ScienceDaily)

Is this the most accurate quantum thermometer? (ScienceDaily)

Until next time,
