Transfer from arts to buisness

Hi I am currently in year 12 and stupidly I didn't do maths....

However I recently decided I am looking for a banking career as I don't met the preqs and I didn't do any maths in year 12 I don't qualify for the Monash bridging course in maths (required 20 to 24 in maths methods) I am not horrible at maths, I could of achieved a 25 in methods if I did it this year I believe.

That said I am currently looking at doing a Bachelor of Arts And then seeing if I could transfer into banking and finance course which is at 82 atar and I could achieve that isn't really me problem in this situation.

But if I did Arts I really really wouldn't want to stay in it as I'm not much of an artsy person. If I did this would I be throwing a Hail Mary and more then likely be stuck into Arts bachelor, as I read on the page you can do buisness electives if I did these will it allow me to transfer?!

Melbourne 96 with bridging course is out of the question so please don't bring that up.

Or would I be best at doing commerce/law at Deakin and then transferring to Monash but I heard that's quite hard and I don't want to be stuck at Deakin if I can help it, no disrepect to Deakin students.

Transfer from a Bachelor of Arts to Bachelor of Business is definitely possible (even at mid year), but just be aware that internal course transfers are based on the number of places available and your academic achievement in your current course (i.e. your Bachelor of Arts). According to the faculty policy (here), a transfer into the Bachelor of Business requires a 60% minimum average, but can actually be higher depending on how competitive the places are.

Do Barts or Bsci at melb and transfer to Bcom.

If you get a 75+ wam it should be virtually guaranteed and you'll need to aim similarly highly if you want a shot at top banks anyway

Enroll at your target uni in a different course and try to transfer internally. The process for transferring internally at Monash is somewhat more straightforward than externally from another university (at least it was when I did so in 2015). It also makes getting credit for your units an easier process.

You'd probably be confident with a 70+ WAM to successfully transfer.
