There was plenty of wind today - so much that leaving my window open meant playing a fun game of chase all the papers that are flying around my room.

Today, I saw a giant army of hailstones bouncing along the ground as they crashed to the earth, as if they were all stones skipping across a large body of water, guided by strong gusts of wind.

I also saw two separate rainbows.

The weather forecast predicts rainy weather for the next few days.

Today I left my house for the station, around 6 minutes run away. It wasn't raining at all, and I'd even seen the sun ten minutes before. By the time I reached the station it was hailing and pouring and I was soaking wet.  Fortunately I was nearly dry by the time I got to Flinders Street...

I'm wearing a t shirt and shorts for the first time in many months. This is very nice.

The weather up here doesn't permit you to wear anything else. I don't own a single pair of long pants :o

To the best of my knowledge there has only been one day since the start of winter where the max temp was predicted to reach 20 degrees All this week the min is in the range of -1 to 1 (which is an improvement from earlier). And this has been one of Canberra's warmest winters.

Wow what a day it was today, hey Victorians?
I wore a dress to work and still sweated \(OwO)/

It peaked about 27 apparently where I live, but yep- big rip to the armpits! D:

Riperoni tomorrow for me though, I hear it'll be 28 or so (which'll feel like 33 for a poor Melbournian like me bc Sydney weather is so different to Melb weather) when I get to Sydney 😅

Gonna be 27 in Canberra tomorrow. Ew. (Still a min of 5 though lol).

Still another couple of weeks before I can go swimming in the lake (...or before I should go swimming at least).

First day I wore shorts to work since March or April or something, but it feels like longer.
Whereas I was in Ballarat for the long weekend and it felt really cold in the evenings.
