Hey AN,

So, after a year of browsing AN I figured well why not create a journal. This will mainly be for motivation and accountability (hope AN can help me with that). It's almost term 2, well something is better nothing.

A little bit about me:
- Year 10
- I just started my journey with Bio 1/2, Eco 1/2 (and loving them)
- Medicine hopeful (more like an expectation)
- Play soccer.
- Hopeful for 99.9+ ATAR

Hit me up with any questions.  :)

So today:
- Wrote some notes on Bio Chap 4 (I know, I'm lagging behind)
- Did few pg of Biozone
- Some of my Creative CAT
- Mainly procrastinating

Some questions:
- Any suggestions to read (just finished the divergent series)
- Do you think its worth preparing for spesh 1/2 next year (hopefully)

Bio is simply amazing to see how complex we really are. What I love about bio is that everything we learn is truly applicable. For example we were learning about Biomimicry and its applications. To see how we can observe nature and solve our problems to me is extremely fascinating .

I know not many like economics, but for me I like to take everything I learn and apply to it reality ;D.

great to see you doing 2 VCE subjects . . . will you doing both of them next year as well?

regarding spec . . . u could purchase the textbook online and start familiarising yourself with the content. The study design contains everything you need to learn. As a 1/2 spec student it is pretty confusing at times and hard to get your head around some of the content . (which is why im droppin it)  ;)

reading suggestions : Black diggers / Longest Memory / The Ink Bridge

how do you find bio 1/2 . . . is it hard/confusing/boring
as I'm dropping spec I wanna determine if I should pick up legal or bio so your thoughts would really help  :)

can't wait for more journal entries to come!

Currently, I am finding bio very heavy on content and at the same enjoying it. Regarding the next year, I will probably do bio 3/4 and maybe Eco.  Thank you so much for your reading suggestions, definitely will take it up.

In regard to Legal or Bio, I am not quite sure what legal is about. However Bio will be awesome if you love observing nature and learning a lot. If you have a passion for any subject then choose it.  ;)

Thank you for reading. I will try to update as often as possible.

99.9+ is an exceptionally high ATAR to aim for (as you probably know). Any reason why that's your target?

My belief is that if there is someone who is able to achieve that score, then why not me. That's just my mindset, trying to strive for the best.

Wow, that's a super early finish! Which subjects have you chosen for next year? Hope you find some great tutors! Do you think you'll go to any lectures for your subjects over summer? ;D

From orientation, what do you reckon will be your easiest and most challenging subjects?

Yeah. Our school finishes really early for Yr10s. The subjects I'm doing are Bio 3/4, Methods 1/2, Spesh 1/2, Chem 1/2, Physics 1/2, Eng 1/2. Do you mean the AtarNotes lectures? Yeah definitely.

From orientation, what do you reckon will be your easiest and most challenging subjects?

Ahh, definitely Specialist, my teacher ran through the course faster than I could keep up. But other than that Bio should be consuming most of my time since its my only 3/4.

Ooh heyo heyo! I’ve been reading through your journal and just wondering, unless it’s too personal to answer, was there a specific reason that you dropped eco?
Keep up the good work! ;D
