Question concerning DUX

If I complete a course (i.e. Maths Adv--> completed HSC exam and received ATAR) in Year 11 and finish my other subjects in Year 12, will the course be counted for when receiving DUX, granted I have the highest score in my class?

Hey, priyanka.jatan!

Good question! I think it depends on the school for internal Dux (if your school even does that) which is awarded at graduation based on internal results. Mine didn't count accelerated subjects for the internal Dux in Year 12 so perhaps it's worth enquiring about it to someone from your school who might know more about it! However, the external Dux will be determined based on whoever gets the highest ATAR  :) Hope that helps!
