=18th - 19th of March 2016=
-old family friend came to australia for the first time so we gave him a place to stay for a bit
-didn't do too much because i really couldn't be bothered
-stressed over english sac re-do

=20th of March 2016=
-went to the english redemption sac for frankenstein because i didn't pass. main feedback was to have more depth in the text which mainly was interpretation of the text and constantly asking 'why?' to certain aspects. felt like today's write-up was better than last time. hopefully I pass this time.
UPDATE: YES I PASSEDJ+ FIHKRSF
-started methods bound reference
-did some practice tests for permutations and combinations sac
-checked up on crystallisation and nucleation prac for chem. got some nice crystals c:
-english oral is going well. starting to write up a script.
-need to read over physics pracs before i go to bed

Today I literally had 2 periods of actual classes, since my specialist teacher was away. :)  But sadly I got told that I have to write an English essay tomorrow in a period. :'(  Luckily my teacher gave the prompt so I can prep for it.

Good luck for the english essay zhen! Prep hard and prep well.

Thanks, I've done a plan and a draft introduction. But, overall I haven't done much since it isn't a SAC and I have a specialist SAC next Wednesday which takes priority.

Lord Somers Camp on the Morning Peninsula :)

can't waiiitttt!!!!!! :D

Spoiler
In Eng Lang mode now and I can't really seem to stop analyzing random things... Can anyone relate to this??:-\ .....The text above is an example of ellipsis. The contraction "can't" and the non-standard elongation of the word "wait" mimics the spoken mode. The emoji also replicates paralinguistic features. These features demonstrate and contribute to the informality of the text and show how the gap between the written and spoken mode is closing, especially in the informal register..... It's been almost two weeks since my eng lang sac and I still haven't gotten over it.... I'm also really worried about how I did because I really don't know what to expect... :( :(

Hi guys,

So my school is going on retreat next term and my share of the cohort is going to 'Casa Pallotti - Retreat Centre' - Millgrove, Victoria.
I was wondering if anyone has been there or know of what the place is like, since there wasn't much that I could gather from their website.

Many thanks in advance

25/3/17

Had my English SAC this week. I was dealt two pretty dud topics, which made the SAC more challenging. To be honest, I have no clue how I went. It's one of those essays where it could be a triumph or a disaster. Hoping for the former, given that English is my favourite subject.

This week I have my Literature SAC- the last of the term. I'm feeling quite confident. Over the term I've developed some insightful interpretations.

Nice, I've still got two SACs to go this term :/

I'm also pretty shocked as this term has gone so quickly and there is basically two terms left.

Hopefully you did do extremely well for the English SAC! Keep us updated! ;D

Best of luck for Lit, hopefully you'll feel relieved after it is done! :D

Wooo! How did Chem and English go?! I know the feeling with waiting for SAC results- I always had to wait a month+ for them, haha.
As I said earlier, it is a scary thing! Try to make as many memories as you can- there isn't much "school-time" left! ;D

All the best for the SACs, you can do it! ;D

It is quite shocking, isn't it?
