Title: Whe do 2nd round offers come out

Yeah does anyone know when second round offers come out? I am really curious about it. Also does the 5% rule still apply, like if you got the next highest results but because of 5% rule you didn’t get an offer, then is it possible to get a second round?

I’m pretty sure 5% rule still applies for second round offers. Because either way no more than 5% of a certain school can attend a selective school

Post by: for_icarus on August 17, 2019, 06:41:53 pm: 2nd round offers usually come out a week or 2 after normal results, so they should probably be out by now, but as usual, that depends on the number of spots/school and etc. Btw, all offers continue up until mid-November, and that's usually it, but in past years they go until a bit later for some people. I doubt they'll give offers after January though.

Post by: Archiegk on August 17, 2019, 07:06:33 pm: The cutoff for accepting first offer was last Thursday so maybe by next week as they would need to do a count as to who’s accepting and rejecting before offering seats to other students.. that’s my opinion

yeah, I mean it has only been like 10 days since offers came out, maybe another week or so

Hey everyone! So first round offers I got into SCHS and also got a PD for Nossal... this morning I got a late offer to MGHS... :)

I honestly thinks that the offer for nossal this year is way harder to get than the last few years; there’s like literally one or two people that I know put nossal as first pref but ended up got into macrob/mhs... and there’s like a countless amount of people from my school applied for nossal(like 80ish? Idrk) but actually only ONE really intelligent person got a first round and the rest either got rejected or got into mhs/macrob(or a pd); it is kind of weird though to say at this point

I don’t exactly know, but all offers continue until mid November, getting an offer after that is pretty unlikely
