How to practise for my SAC?
« on: February 01, 2017, 09:31:16 pm »

I have a legal sac in exactly a week and I want to have some practice sac papers to test my knowledge. I didn't do the 1&2 so this will be my first ever legal sac period. Does anyone know where I can find some other resources other than a textbook for questions? Is it worth sorting through past exams for questions?
Thanks

Seeing as your SAC is in one week, I would recommend sorting through VCAA Legal Studies exams to find questions relevant to your upcoming SAC. It might also be worth looking through Engage Education's exams and finding relevant questions.

I'd also consider purchasing a copy of Legal Checkpoints, as these have past exam questions organised into areas of study.

Hi Jellybean,

Yes, Cambridge Checkpoints is the way to go. I'd also recommend Legal Studies A+ notes, written by Michelle Humphreys. These have great chapter summaries with additional detail and hints to the textbook. This book also contains practice exam questions for each topic and provides sample answers at the back of the book, whereby extra detail can be found again!

But like Glasses has said, VCAA past papers and examiners reports are your best resources!

Hope this helps  :)
