Now that you've got those minor unit 3 exams and whatnot out of the way, it's time to focus on something real. Something important. Something amazing. The GAT.

Okay, so you're thinking, it's the General Achievement Test, so it's pretty "general" and mundane, right?

WRONG!

The GAT  is, by far, the exam that has the MOST competition. It takes a huge leap over Methods and English, the GAT is the real deal. Why? Because EVERYONE sits this exam, hence, it is the MOST important and the MOST competitive.

"Without my 3 50s in the GAT, I don't think I ever would have got that first computer done"
~Bill Gates

Therefore, and hopefully your mind has been clicking along the way, it is vital to your VCE success that you take it seriously and beast it with all your academic might.

I know some of you have been doing practice GATs and hopefully you've all done at least 10 by now, but I'm afraid to tell you, that that is simply NOT enough for success. You have a good 16 hours or something between now and the GAT, that means at least 5 more can be done.

I believe in you, AN believes in you, but VCAA doesn't, so go and prove them wrong and gat that GAT and GOOD LUCK! :)

Guys apparently the GAT this year is extremely hard, it's by far the most important exam you have this year and will determine 90% of your ATAR.

Good luck!

Yes, I've heard that too! All the more reason to take it seriously!

Also, could someone please post a copy of it (scan), I'm sure we're all up for comparing answers/essays afterwards xoxoxox

Bill Gates is a billionaire so now I have the motivation to study for the GAT. If I get 3 50's in the GAT will I become a billionaire as well?

You always have the option of suing VCAA if you don't get there :)

Also heard from a few sources about this drink called GAT-orade. Increases potential for perfect GAT but I've been getting mixed reviews and opinions. Any thoughts on whether I should invest in this, I mean Tiger Woods did and he is also a billionaire.

Are we allowed to bring GAT-orade in the GAT?

I believe taking it orally beforehand is when the effect is maximised :)
