Hi! This discussion space is dedicated to After Darkness- particularly based on the theme of women in the novel.
How do people interpret Piper's use of characters such as Sister Bernice and Kayoko? Do you admire these characters?
I have heard people describe Sister Bernice and Kayoko as "extraneous" and "irrelevant"- do you agree?
Let's get a chat going on the female characters in Christine Piper's 'After Darkness.'

Hiya! Welcome to the forums!

I'm not that familiar with this text however if you're studying it for high school, it may be a good idea to repost this in one of the English boards. This will allow you to collaborate with other students and also attract the attention of AN tutors :)

All the best!
