My Netflix subscription ran out and now I have nothing to do

Get a free one month trial at Stan instead ;) (I prefer Stan over Netflix tbh)

Speaking of Stan, just finished all nine seasons of 'How I Met Your Mother'

Just got back from Melbourne to QLD in the car; took about 22 hours and I have never wanted a shower more in my life. Dad's a machine for being able to last as long as he did.

I was a little peeved at having to sleep in the car, then I remembered that there are people in NSW that'll have to be doing just that for quite a while. Really makes me appreciate that I still have a place to come back to. Here's to praying that this catastrophe will all be over as soon as possible.

How did you find it?

I did a run through of it about a year ago when it was still in Netflix - although it wasn't my first time

I guess if you can go past to how sexist the show is at times (some characters were problematic at times [especially Ted and Barney])- then the show is great! It's actually written so well and the writers dropped clues all through 9 seasons on how the main character, Ted, met the mother. I find that the jokes and the running gags are hilarious as well. Ending was quite disappointing (like everyone said it was) but the journey to it is worth the binge imo. You learn to love the characters and their little quirks (can find myself relating to Ted and Lily at times)

Would recommend if you like the romcom genre and sitcom shows.

Edit: I'll have to give 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' another watch after watching Neil Patrick Harris on HIMYM. At first I wasn't impressed with NPH casting in A Series of Unfortunate Events. But after watching HIMYM, I now understand why he was casted as Count Olaf.

I already had a free trial for Stan which ran out a few weeks ago :(

Saddest reacts :(

Watching shows that have been dubbed to english with the subtitles on is an interesting experience given the words never quite match the text.

It's currently warm enough in my room to make my laptop potentially warm enough to fry an egg on. :(

Had to pick up a child from school yesterday. It was half an hour (walking) each way. Pushing a pram. Carrying a schoolbag. Gave myself heatstroke. 0/10. Would not recommend.

Finally got around to seeing The Return of Skywalker. Managed to avoid almost all spoilers (none of which were important to the main story).

I thought it was a good movie but not a good Star Wars movie, a few things felt like a cop out. I suspect it is mainly due to Carrie Fisher's death. Ian McDiarmid's role was performed amazingly, his acting always blows me away.

We have fish now! My dad got 4 guppies, a sucker fish and a beta fish, whose name is now Sensei Woo. My cat seems to be enjoying it so far.

That is adorable. Does your cat just sit there all day?
