After seeing the uproar on the coffee thread about the lack of tea options- here's a thread just for tea! ;D

My favourite tea is chamomile, followed by black tea (I prefer loose-leaf aha! :') )
I also occasionally drink a chocolate tea that I bought loose-leaf and add honey to it- pure bliss <3

Anyone else think that Earl Grey tastes a little soapy?

I don't drink tea that often though if it's there infront of me, I shall drink away ;)

- Jasmine Tea (especially when they give it for free at Chinese restaurants!!!!)
- Green Tea
- Bubble tea aha (does my usual chatime fruity strawberry with black tea order with no pearls count as bubble tea if there ain't no pearls?)
- I like any tea that has lemon in it :)

I never ever put milk and sugar in my tea though.

My favourite tea is planinski caj, which is a tea made from ironwort. I think the one I buy is sourced from Serbia. It's not sold in supermarkets, sadly :( I've only ever found it in Balkan grocery stores, so it's not as popular as it deserves

Definitely white tea no sugar, preferably getting my money's worth out of the teabag as well, 3-4 cups or maybe more. Sometimes have sugar, mostly when I'm in India. However, this can be taken too far, such as last week seeing someone put 3-4 teaspoons of sugar into a 60mL cup of tea!?!?!?!

I'm an English Breakfast kinda guy, but can't deny that Irish Breakfast is pretty good too.

I was introduced to Earl Grey and Green in primary school & thought that my indifferent response  settled it - I wasn't a tea person.

That is, until a close friend at highschool started bringing in cinnamon tea & I tried some. Then at RYLA my group shared a different tea each day of the week. I have no idea what was in those teas (as they were each homemade from multiple ingredients) but they became favourites.

Please never ever judge tea on Earl Grey. It is the worst tea in the world imo, just tastes disgusting. Mostly I don't go into herbal teas of any type, but cinnamon tea is pretty good.

I actually love Earl Grey. If you're looking for a good introduction, T2's French Earl Grey used to be a favourite of mine (and not too expensive).
Earl Grey as bubble tea is delicious too.
I haven't come across a tea I don't like yet, but I have to be in a particular ~mood~ to drink herbal (medicinal-type) teas.

Okay I have to confess, I’ve always been a tea hater but I’ve been being fed tea three times a day at the moment and I’m seriously considering  continuing to drink it once I’m back in Australia. At least it might reduce my coffee consumption haha. We’re just being given black tea but maybe I’ll experiment a bit haha

Milk and sugar? Try soy milk and honey ;)

My local T2's honestly converted me to tea. Every week I go there they're (ooft, homophones) giving me new samples to take home and try. My favourite is Terrific Toffee :)

Yes, I love T2. At one point I counted all the boxes we had bought and at $13 a box it added to over $200 (nuts).
Walking into the store is good enough, but those samples 😍😍
I also love terrific toffee! Some of my T2 favorites are Sweet Spice, Blue Mountain, Jade Mountain, Vanilla Slice, Tummy Tea, Choc Chip Chai and Licorice Legs.
Also much love for Mr. Trudeau xx

Reviving this topic because it's the most recent tea-specific one I can find! My question isn't really appropriate for any other threads.

I'm making an effort to reduce the amount of waste I produce. I drink a lot of tea and my favourite tea is Twinings Irish Breakfast but its in tea bags and I would feel better switching to loose leaf to reduce the amount of tea bags I'm sending to landfill as I'm sure they're not very biodegradable.

So, does anyone have a recommendation for an Irish Breakfast loose leaf tea that will blow my mind? I already have the one from T2 but imo it's not as good as the Twinings one. Happy to branch out from Twinings as it seems they don't make it in the loose leaf variety.
