I'm one of the oldies, who has just finished the science part of my combined degree, where I majored in applied maths. As Humph alluded to, there are quite a few others as well, like Ahmad, Neobeo et al.

I wanna do science/engineering at monash next year. At this stage I'm thinking chemical engineering, along with maths and physics for the science component.

B.Sc is part of my double degree. Too bad Monash is tight on course regulations and won't let me minor AND major in maths. :(

Really? I called them up (not the 1800-MONASH number but the other student enquiries number) and the lady told me that I can major in maths but I have to minor in something else.

Thanks for showing that Damo but now I'm more confused. I guess I'll ask them at O-week or something (maybe that policy is for the single degree of BSc and not BSc combined with something else?)

you can double major in maths which is the same as getting a major and minor in maths.
