I have received advice from numerous past students to consider doing Physics if I am doing Specialist Maths as the theory in each subject will help one another. Just wanted to know whether this was true and how much it would contribute to maximising my final VCE results.

I personally believe that it is true that it would be great if u do both since topics from Physics and Spesh intertwine with each other. For example, a topic from Kinematics (a branch of VCE physics) is about vectors, and like Spesh maths helps use integration to solve problems related to vectors. You get the idea right? The usually go with each other.

Furthermore, Physics and Spesh can scale u RLLY high. Not sure how high exactly for Physics, but for Spesh(iirc) it is like +10!!!

On the other hand, it will also depend on interest for Physics as well as Spesh maths. So overall, if you are generally interested in these subjects, by all means, go for it. :) :) :)
