Hi there,
i was wondering if someone can help me identify the main points of human sanctity present in 1984.
The essay question I'm doing is "Although Metropolis is about exploitation and 1984, indoctrination, both texts stress the sanctity of the human spirit. Compare the ways in which value of human life is considered in each of these texts."
I've decided to structure it as Metropolis - exploitation, 1984 - indoctrination and follow it up with another two paragraphs explaining despite these two facets both texts show the sanctity of human spirit. For metropolis it is through Freder as the mediator but I'm struggling with 1984. Any points would be helpful and appreciated
