VCE Aggregate scores??

Hey,

In VTAC's table they published in 2019, last December the highest aggregate score to correspond to a 99.95 ATAR was 218.99??
How do you achieve this aggregate, lets say even if they get raw 50s in all 6 of their subjects = 210 aggregate. Is there a way of increasing your aggregate above this??

Thanks.  :)

Some subjects such as Specialist Maths and Latin scale over 50 (capped at 55 scaled from a raw 50)  :)

Is there any other way of increasing your aggregate score than achieving the best possible in your SS?

Any what are the GAs of Bio and how much are each worth?

What is the score of an A, A+ in the GAs? (is it like 95% on SACs or something??)

none than I can think of, do you have any ideas?

GA means graded assement. Each subject has three of these. These include sacs/exam/folio work etc
For biology
GA1: Unit 3 Sacs (16%)
GA2: Unit 4 Sacs (24%)
GA3: External Exam (60%)

The letter grade is just how VCAA group certain scores. E.g. 89-100 may be an A+ and 81-88 might be an A. These change year by year and can be found by searching for grade distributions for each subject.

There are University Extension Programs that serve as a bottom two subject. The highest you can achieve is a 5.0 added to your aggregate which is equivalent to a 50 raw in your bottom two. Many of my friends who study Uni Extension programs say that a 5.0 is arguably 'easier' to achieve than a 50 raw in your typical VCE subject.

2019 reports will be released later in the year.

Ah ok thanks Sine and Raine,

Some other questions:
1. Where can I find the 2019 vce Bio exam?
2. Do students in year 11 have to do the GAT if they are doing a 3/4 in yr 11.

The 2019 bio exam has not veeb released officially by vcaa yet.

And yes anyone doing a 3/4 must do the GAT (regardless of year level)
