Correct Study Score?

Hello everyone! Congrats to those who have finished year 12.

I ordered a Statement of Marks and Study Score. Could someone confirm if I got the correct study score for the following subject:

Further Maths
Rank: top 10 in a moderately strong cohort
GA1: 92/100 --> 92/100 (A)
GA2: 38/40 (A+)
GA3: 58/60 (A+)

Study Score: 42

Thanks!

Taking a quick glance it looks a touch low (but within the realm of possibilities). You could have scored a high 42, meaning your standardised study score was something like 42.49 but VCAA rounds to the nearest integer. Your two exam scores bring the study score to 46 (assuming 99 or 100 sacs) so your sacs seem to have cost you 4 study scores.

What was the A+ cutoff for sacs? or if you don't have that information was a 92/100 an A+ for sacs?

Exam 1 was easier this year in comparison to last year (this year 37/40 A+ cutoff, last year 36/40 A+ cutoff) so with those SAC marks a 42 seems possible - however, a 42 study score does look a bit low...

For GA1, I got an A.

Not unless there's a significant discrepancy or if you need a minor adjustment to get into a university course.
You got 42, that's still a great score. If you know you've got entry into your desired course, just leave it. Have a great break and look forward to your future :)

If SACs is an A I don't think it is worth getting checked out and your scores make more sense now.

If there was a mistake it would be max 1-2 study scores (which I think is unlikely if GA1 is an A). Also, usually if mistakes are made it would be a much greater difference.

Im guessing the marks were obtained from the Statement of Study Score. If the numebers check out on the Statement of Study Score, I would say a 42 for those scores is satisfactory

If my GA3 was 60/60 and GA1 and GA2 remain the same, what could my potential study score be?

Typically in Further, they said 1 exam mark = 1 study score point. Thus, I'd say a perfect GA3 would mean a 44.

If I get my Exam 2 remarked and score 60/60, is there any possibility that my GA1 may be boosted for any reason?

Possibly, depends on your ranking and how others in your cohort went on the exam.
