Do 4U or not?

Hi, guys. My name is BakerDaddy12 and I was wondering if you could help me decide whether I should undertake 4U maths or not. Currently I am in Year 11 and I am ranked 2nd in Extension 1 Maths (albeit only out of 15 people). My exam marks were 91% and 88%. I am excited about maths, and I think 4U would give me the option to drop another subject and go down to 10 units. Maths is interesting to me and pretty intuitive, but I have heard 4U is very hard.
Are my marks good enough to get in, and is it worth it?

Sorry if questions like this have been asked here before but I couldn't find any.
Thank you for your time!

They’re fine.

Any band E4 level mark is fine. The more important question is if you can persist through the difficulty of 4U once you’re actually there. Which is not something you can determine unless you give it a try.

To put simply, the same advice I give is to at least try it out. And if you find it’s not for you, give it up then knowing you at least tried. As opposed to regretting not giving it a chance later on.
