The past two days I wore summery dresses to work with a cardigan in the morning and I was still super warm. I love the sun. ;D

What has been happening with Melbourne's weather this week? From 33 degrees to 14 and raining in the span of four or so days. I can't wait for summer!

I'd probably flip that - on a weekday I'm in an air-conditioned office, and it can be pleasant walking in the evenings (like tonight).  Whereas on a weekend I'm more likely to want to be out walking, and prefer walking in 20 degrees to 30 (that is, if the weather will ever give up on this notion that most rain should fall on weekends...)

I personally think rain is pretty groovy, so I'm welcoming it this weekend.

I like the rain from behind a window, but rain isn't great weather for a walk or bike ride. (I guess neither is 35 degrees in the middle of the day...)

I love thunderstorms (when I'm enjoying them by choice not forced to be out in them). Lightening is so pretty.

I think rainy days are great on weekends because you don't really have to go anywhere if you don't want to; you can snuggle up or go out and get wet for the fun of it, whereas on weekdays you have to go to school or work so it's more miserable. The storms this weekend in particular have been wonderful, because the rain is cool but the actual air is quite warm.

(Ironic Erutepa and I  were gonna go swimming though, haha)

It is very cold and windy right now. I also need to go buy hayfever tablets and I don't want to go out in this weather again today :')

^IDK why but that just reminded me, when it gets windy around here something about the way Fenner is built makes the wind screech through the corridors. It even manages to sound like drums sometimes. It's quite strange but I like it.

This might sound crazy, but I'm in QLD and I can't wait for cyclone season.  The bush fires have been crazy recently and we're desperate for some decent rain.  Also is anyone interested in a chat about bush fires?  Just to let people know where fires are and how to control/prevent them?
Yours sincerely,
