First preference for most things thanks to the reliable trick of forcing clashes.

Managed to move an 8am lab by constantly refreshing until a better option opened, still stuck with 1 other lab at 8am.

I think I managed to get a decent timetable, besides from two back to back labs and a tutorial, but not much I can do to change it so I'll just have to deal lol. I've got two one hour breaks so hopefully that won't be too bad (considering it was initially one one hour break and one three hour break I think this might be an improvement?). Though I'm super happy that I have no 8am starts (earliest I have to start is 10 thank god).

Other than refreshing allocate for spots who should I contact, though with the reason for wanting to change being that I'd prefer a break in-between classes. And would it help if I were speaking there in person, since I'm going there during O-week anyways.

bittersweet...Got all my first prefs but one of my auto allocate slots was an 2hour 8am lecture 
All my lectures barring 1 is in Sth 1 so I guess that's a plus.

Your best bet is to swap with someone who is in a class that you want to swap to. That person must also agree to swap with you. You can find the details on how to do this here.

The best way to find people to swap with is on the Monash Uni Stalkerspace facebook group, or on the Moodle page for your unit (when it becomes available).

For Law1111, I have two 2 hour lectures but no tute. To anyone who has done this subject/doing it, am I supposed to have a tute?

Can't complain I guess, feel like I got pretty reasonable allocations. Finish a few days at around 1, and don't start another until 2, so despite being in 5 days it's nice to have a few mornings and an afternoon off. Also, no 8 am starts! *phew*

Nah that's the way the unit runs. There aren't any tutorials, but the lectures are pretty discussion-based

Cool so I've been given a spit in the face with 8 am lecrures I cant change.

It's legitimately cruel and unusual punishment because some of us have to to work late at night and then a long commute to get to uni on time.

9 am I think is fair enough for everyone but 8 am is going too far!

I'm not too sure if law lectures are compulsory, so bear with me, but have you considered not attending them and catching up later in the day?

Got all my first preferences except for one tute - which was on 1pm on Thursday as my only class that day

However what I did was keep trying to refresh allocate+ - problem with that was all classes were full except for one which people kept switching out of - which with 40 tutes for this subject is unacceptable.

So I emailed my ce and got a reply back saying that class sizes will be extended by tomorrow  . I’ve moved it away from Thursday but it’s been a pain in the neck this sem. Anyways that means I’ve only got 3 days which is what I was looking for with compulsory classes on mondays and fridays. So looking like a decent sem for me
