Title: different vce maths

hey guys id appreciate it if someone could explain the different types of vce maths and what they entail for my general knowledge (i already know what i want to do but my mind might change haha) thanks <3

Further Mathematics:
- The topics generally have a more straightforward application to real life (financial maths, data analysis, geometry, etc)
- More competitive cohort - which means that you can only lose very few marks on the exams to score highly
- The maths is fairly straightforward - there aren't any lengthy high mark application questions on the exams
- Exam 1 - all multiple choice (calc active)
- Exam 2 - short answer (calc active)
- Scales down (~3)
- Not as interesting as the other maths (in my opinion)

Mathematical Methods:
- Content is suited for students wanting to pursue engineering or other maths oriented careers.
- High focus on differential and integral calculus
- Covers areas such as functions, transformations, trigonometry, calculus, probability
- Scales highly (~4)
- You need to understand concepts intuitively in order to score highly
- Fulfils maths prerequisites for university
- Tricky application questions on exams
- Exam 1 - short answer (no calc)
- Exam 2 - multiple choice + short answer (calc active)

Specialist Mathematics:
- Abstract concepts that are useful in engineering
- Time consuming subject that requires substantial practice or a strong foundation from year 10+ to succeed in
- You should have mastered your algebra skills and be able to manipulate equations with ease
- You must try to grasp an intuitive understanding of concepts if you wish to score highly.
- Very interesting topics (vectors, trigonometry, dynamics, complex numbers, more advanced calculus, probability, kinematics)
- Scales extremely highly (~10)
- Helps in Methods (content overlap with calculus, trigonometry and some probability)
- Exam structure is the same as methods

What do you mean by that?
