CAS Calculator Problems

Hey guys, I'm not sure whether I am using my CAS calculator incorrectly or somehow but for the simultaneous equation solve, it always doesn't rearrange the other variables and help me solve for the one I am looking for? Like x and y in terms of a and b.
And for the second one, why is it that my answer is that but when I write the exact same equation on Symbolab, I am able to get the correct answer, when I hover over the yellow sign, it says Warning, domain of the result might be larger than the domain of the input, however the answer I was looking for was (x^2y+x)/y+1

If anyone can help me, please do, this will save my entire year in Math omG
Thanks

I've tried to make my image as well as it can but it still exceeds 2500KB

The calculator recognises multiple-letter variable. That means that when you type xy, it thinks you are talking about the variable “xy” rather than x multiplied by y.

To fix this, all you need to do is add a multiplication sign between your variables, and all your woes will disappear.
