As a Geelong fan, hHawks out played us for most of the game unfortunately. Hawkins and Stevie J just got sucked in by Hawthorn's little mind games which pretty much summed the night.

The scoreboard was pretty much a tug-o-war most of the match. Back and forth. You know a game is great when that occurs.

I just hope North win tomorrow night and then defeat the Cats (which isn't impossible since we've defeated the top 4 this season). We definitely have the fire power. I can't remember which match it was but I do recall North kicking ~10 goals in 1 quarter to come back and defeat a team..... So it's certainly possible.

That was one of the most intense games i've watched in a long time! I thought the game was done and dusted at half time... but that comeback!! Wow! North Melbourne win by 2 goals! :D

Edit: Cannot believe the amount of bad sports from Essendon. I know it's the end of their season but really.... Was just reading a few of the comments on Essendon's facebook page.

Not gonna lie, I expected our 3rd term on slouchy. Essedon are a bad third quarter side, Morth and Port are the best third quarter sides. We do this a lot haha! Sam Wriggt's best game, Cunnington an absolute legend, Wells all class and some glorious promise from Benny Brown. Say in the cheersquad, my throat is gone. Lucky I'm not tutoring tomorrow. GO NORTH!!!!

You guys put up a damn good fight though, regardless of the current circumstances.. so props to the bombers for that. Now today's match (Port vs Rich) is going to be an interesting one.

What i'm looking forward to is next week's match against Geelong. Brother vs Brother in an elimination. :D

Prelim:
Sydney will beat Geelong in Preliminary.
Hawks will beat Freo in Preliminary.

This round;
Port Adelaide beat Richmond by 30.

Next round;
Geelong beat North.
Fremantle beat Port.

It's a team like the Tigers who deserve a good finals win. They've done an outstanding job this season with so many wins in a row. Port have been lacking lately - let's not forget they were #1 for some time too.

Which one are you? A cat or a roo? :P

Yeah kinda called it that Port would come back in second half much to my chagrin I was right..

But such a great game and the crowd of 75k was pretty electric
