Ooft, what a day. It's been pretty extreme (last SAC, le green squares, chickens...) so I went home and started to draft. I might just go through this whole process with you guys so you can see exactly what I did (what I'm trying to do, anyway)!
So, I mentioned time personified in my journal yesterday, just thinking. What would they be like? What would their features be? I started thinking about Alice Through the Looking Glass, and Time as a man in robes, a clock as his heart. That, to me, doesn't really seem like...
time. Time is ever-flowing, Time is cold and impersonal, and blind to the things it could do if it slowed down, just for a moment. Time is bright and yet dark at the same time, the past, the present and the future all in one. My version of time is an ageless queen in iridescent robes, with white-blonde hair and her eyelids stitched shut. An almost Amazonian physique would echo her everlasting strength. Immortal. Untouchable. So, I decided to plan her head (because I don't have my own Copic markers and I want those for any robes haha)
Here's the rough sketch. I like her head-piece, but her eyebrow needs some work and I need to figure out what medium to use for her gentle skin tone. I'm thinking charcoal, she'd do well in monotone, like an 1800s film. Aged but ageless.
Not sure when I'll do her next step, but follow along if you want! This should be fun
edit: TL;DR I'm making a lady who's meant to personify time and yeah
