On which planet is it acceptable for my housemate to be playing intermittent music without headphones at 1:30am? 😂

I'll add to this. People who don't shut up in the silent room at my school. It's literally labelled as the silent room. There a massive room it's attatched to it that you can talk in. I tell people to shut up and they're like but I'm only talking quietly. Ugh silent room not quiet room. And it's always the same people like I get one comment, but people come here to hide from teachers and talk the whole period. (Or worse the year 7 gamers in here at lunch) ffs some people actually need quiet.

When your pen runs out with one sentence left to write...like, did you have to die here? Like right now? PLEASE, just stay alive for the last sentence??...and there's a scribble farm at the top of your page.

When there are assessments due after the end of semester (in particular, the physics homework that we were given yesterday and is due end of swotvac, aka 2 days before my first exam). I don't have time for it because I have 3 exams in 2 days at the start of the exam period :(. It's particularly painful because it wasn't supposed to be assessable, there was a mistake with one of the earlier assessments so they decided this one would count.

Edit: Also when they give incorrect information regarding what they want you to do, and then you lose marks because you did what they said  :'(

This double standard that it's okay for someone normally immature to do something silly because it's 'just who they are', but if you're normally mature/responsible and you do something dumb, you're the devil

Finding out from a facebook post by a primary school friend who i don't really talk to anymore that my grade 6 teacher died not from my mum who works part time at that same primary school ... and this must have been last week or earlier because I got asked a strange question by a current teacher who is connected to that primary school (he asked who my little brother's grade 6 teacher is) and I mentioned that to my mum (It took me a second to remember and he started to ask if it was her) and she still didn't say anything. Sorry for posting this here I know it doesn't really belong but I wanted to rant  :-\
Her memorial service at school is on Friday but I can't go because I'm working, because no one told me.

Sorry to continue this rant, but people who talk continuously about non-subject related stuff in lectures. WHY??? 😒It's not only distracting and infuriating, but also illogical. If you can't go 50 minutes without chatting, couldn't you just watch the capture at home, rather than making it harder to consentrate for everyone else who's actually there to absorb the content...?

People who don't clean up after themselves in the Uni study rooms. It's so yuck having a sticky keyboard, or sticky table.

I always have to bring some wipes before I study (cause oily table, coffee spill, dried spilled  coke).
....

ALso people that piss all over the bathroom floor.. (like control your things)....

So I've just got busted by the ticket inspectors and I'm like balling my eyes out.

How successful have people been in fighting fines?

Also since they gave me a replacement ticket which is of no use to me since in only valid till 4pm today and I'm in the city, does that mean that they remove all the credit on my current card?

Your only chance at fighting it is if you can prove you took 'reasonable steps' to have a valid ticket.

When you say remove all credit on your current card do you mean you had a myki with money? I've never heard of them taking money off them. The replacement tickets are so you don't get fined twice. (But unfortunately they only last 2 hours)

Have heard that if it's your first offence, most people are reasonably successful in appealing the fine if they write nicely to them and explain why they didn't have a valid ticket. Might as well appeal it - either you get it rescinded, or the fine stays, so you don't lose anything.

If your card that had all the credit on it is registered, you can order a replacement that'll have the credit on it.
