Apparently we can pick our tutes and pracs tomorrow, at an unspecified time, or we might have to wait until an undisclosed time within the next couple of weeks, or maybe we won't be able to pick them until the first lecture, or maybe sometime within the first week of uni.

Late enrollment means that I basically get all the worst slots (I'm looking at you, ENG1003 Prac, with your 6pm-9pm slot), and no one is going to want to switch into those slots, so I'm stuck with a nasty setup. And it's not even my fault.

What uni timetable  Still haven’t got mine finalised yet because some of my classes have allocated streaming. Really don’t want to still be at uni past 5 so it’s just a waiting game at this point.

The hoping that you won't be at uni past 5 ordeal is all too real for me- I've been allocated an afternoon lab that finishes at 6 this semester (after a morning lab too. Ew.), even though they could've allocated me to one on the previous day where I only have a single workshop :')

Literally the one thing that is shitting me is friends who don't bother to talk to you and you feel practically invisble.
It's a great hit to both one's confidence and mental health. Idk it's been irriatating me and I needed to vent, can't do anything about it either

So I went to an industry travel expo for the USA tonight. (Mum owns a travel agency and I help her out, so that’s how I’m in the industry)
Heaps of fun.


They gave away a bunch of flights, accommodation and tours as prizes.

The biggest company there was Disney, most of the giveaways were smaller independent companies.
Disney decided to be cheap give away a plastic lightsaber.
They are the biggest company there. Yet they have the cheapest prize.

I did enjoy hounding the Disney Rep with questions though.
