Hello, how important is it to have the numerical reference for a sacred text quote in the SOR 2 unit exam? Can you just quote a sacred texts as being from the Qur'an or something or do you need the passage number etc?

Welcome to the forums!

When you reference quotes, it's a lot better to include a numerical reference after the quote, so for example, Surah 2:196. But if you can't remember the exact reference, I'd stick to saying "This belief/value/whatever you're arguing is supported in the Qu'ran as it states..."
