Hi there! Is anyone doing Texts and Traditions this year in year 12? If yes, what have you guys been learning in school so far? Has anyone managed to make notes on the chapters especially special chapters for the Gospel of Luke?

there's an older thread here with few things here about Luke and some other tips. Unfortunately, I couldn't do 3/4 Texts and Traditions this year they had to cancel the class because there wasn't enough people.

With Luke's Gospel you should try focusing on the miracles stories as his Gospel is focused on healing and the position of outcasts. It's probably best to choose stories that you can compare/contrast with the other synoptic gospels. In my opinion the best one's to focus on are the woman with a hemorrhage/jairus' daughter (Luke 8:40-56), the birth stories and the passion narratives. Jairus' Daughter is a really good story to focus on since it's in all of the synoptic gospels and it uses the "markan sandwich" style as opposed to the same typical miracle story structure so there's a lot of things you can pull out from there. I still have my note from Unit 1 T&T if you'd like them but I'm not sure if they'd be any help for 3/4. You can PM if you still want them
