What preparation should I be doing?

I'm just curious to what everyone else is doing to prepare fro Japanese as the exam draws closer...

僕にとって、最近特別研究を集中しているんだけど、口頭試験より（Written)試験の方が大切で、口頭の成績は良くても、Written)試験の成績は悪いなら、もしかしたらいい点を取らないかもしれないと言われている。これで、今、みんなは特別研究の準備以外、模試や他の準備をしているか。つまり、僕は正しいことをやっているか。
来学期、勉強のことを増えるそうだし、口頭と試験と同じくらいの大変だけれど、これからどのセクションを集中するかまだわからない。もしアドバイスあれば、教えて下さい！

As well as this, I was also wondering if there was anyone who had any advice in terms of techniques to use in the listening section of the exam?
