Without doing unit 1&2

Hi everyone!
Am I able to cope with it without doing unit 1&2?
I have looked through the past exam papers and I found it quite interesting.
I'm not doing any science subjects in year 11. (e.g. Biology, chemistry etc)
Any advice would be much appreciated!  :)

I don't have any personal experience, but my school offers 3/4 without 1/2 and the majority of people taking it score over 40. I think that 1/2 may be irrelevant to 3/4.
2012: Psychology (48) | Health and Human Development (47)
2013: Literature (38+) | French (25+) | English (45+) | Environmental Science (38+)
ATAR: 98+

The study design doesn't list Units 1&2 as a prerequisite, so I assume that you wouldn't be disadvantaged.
2012-13: VCE at Parade College (Chemistry, English, Mathematical Methods, Physics and Specialist Mathematics).
2014-16: Bachelor of Science at La Trobe University (Mathematics and Statistics).
2017-17: Bachelor of Science (Honours) at La Trobe University (Mathematics).
2018-21: PhD at La Trobe University (Mathematics).
