How does the transfer of universities work

Hi Guys,

Say for instance if you want to do a particular course at a particular university but do not meet the required ATAR to do it. If I do the same course at a different uni, after how many years do I need to wait to transfer to my desired university doing that particular course? Does it depend on how well I do in my year/s at the university before potentially transferring?

All responses will be much appreciated. Thanks.  :) :D

You could even try mid-year if the course you actually want to transfer to accepts applications at that time. If not, you could try at the end of your first year.

If you attempt a transfer mid-year (to another institution), your ATAR will still be part of the consideration (as well as your scores at uni to-date). After a year, the ATAR isn't considered just your uni scores.

Okay. Cheers Aaron for your feedback
