[TV] Would I Lie to You?

I know we have a few fans on the forums (myself included!), so I thought I'd make a thread where we can chat all things WILTY. ;D

For the uninitiated. WITLY is a British panel show. It's hosted by Rob Brydon, and David Mitchell (love eyes) and Lee Mack are the team captains. Basically, contestants take it in turns to read a card, which contains either a true statement about them, or a complete lie. They don't know what will be on the card until they read it, and then they have to convince the other team they're telling the truth.

It's quite possibly the greatest show of all time, and one of very few that consistently makes me laugh. The Brydon/Mitchell/Mack dynamic is incredible, and they're all so gosh darn witty.

My favourite truth/lie so far:

Favourite contestants? Least favourites? General thoughts and love? ;D

YESS!! No words describe how much I love this show. Lee Mack is honestly a genius. Some of the lies he gets are flipping ridiculous. And of course my love for David Mitchell grows stronger every day. I think some of the best contestants are definitely Bob Mortimer, James Acaster, Claudia Winkleman, Greg Davies, and Henning Wehn.

Some of my favourite truths/lies are:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFf7qdZfHvw
I live for David Mitchell crying with laughter because of Mack

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ct40CLTCC7A&t=3s
Only on this show the truth is the person who was harrased with lettuces

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjOZmjntpqQ
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8_Z9i23K1o
Greg Davies is a master and he finds his stories just as hilarious as everyone else does

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsuuiVzS6Js
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F21mTojMCAc
The key with Mortimer is: the more unbelievable the story, the more likely it is to be true

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DsyUXEH1wM
It just makes no sense  ;D ;D

And bonus:

Just because of Mitchell's banshee cackle.

I'm such a stan of British Panel Shows so it was only a matter of time before I discovered WILTY ;D It all began with Big Fat Quiz and I've been a hopeless case ever since.
Thank you for the warm welcome haha.

I like stuff like Game of Thrones, Penny Dreadful, Community, Outlander, Parks and Rec. But I've recently been binging 8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown, I need a self-help group honestly.

I just came home from the shops and WILTY was on the TV. I don't watch much TV but I'm hooked off what I've seen. 😊

Got my dad hooked a couple nights ago! It's a great show, and David and Lee play off each other so well

You need to watch the one where Lee Mack tries to explain a time when he was the flower girl at a wedding hahaha

Some of the shit by Bob Mortimer is next level. Same with Rhod Gilbert. There's one where he has to convince the panel that he bought a mexican meal with his car
