intramolecular bonds in alcohols

Hi guys,

just wondering if the -OH bond in alcohols are polar ionic or polar covalent? I kinda forgot all my year 11 knowledge lol

The -OH bond is polar covalent.
Additionally, the C-O bond is also polar covalent.

These polar covalent bonds can turn into hydrogen bonds forming between ethanol and other molecules :)
