Title: Textual Conversations essay question helpp
Post by: Chentyf on March 19, 2021, 12:40:45 pm
We are doing Module A at the moment. The two texts we are comparing are Shakespeare's "King Richard III" and "Looking For Richard" by Al Pacino. We got three essay questions to analyse, but I'm not too sure how to approach them, or how to answer them? Any suggestions would be extremely appreciated :)) (refer to below for three questions)

1. “In what ways does a comparative study of King Richard III and Looking for Richard explore the nature of peace and conflict?”
In your response, make close reference to the textual conversations taking place between the two texts that you have studied in Module A.
2. “When we compare two texts in textual conversation, we come to a deeper understanding of the original text” To what extent is the statement above reflective of the conversation between the prescribed texts?
3. “The essence of comparing Shakespeare's Richard III and Pacino’s Looking for Richard is the textual conversation about the portrayal of King Richard III in differing contexts” To what extent is this statement true of the two prescribed texts?
