Hey there,
For Chem I've been averaging roughly 85% all year... puts me above average in a pretty strong cohort.
What exam score do you think I will need to score a 40, or high 30?
I've been getting high 80's on praccy's, but just wanted ur advice.
Thanks
About 87% needed to net a 40 with those SACs, tho could change with rank

For chem:
Rank 5-6ish in a weak-moderate cohort (top 5 is strong but everyone else is pretty weak (40% avg.))
U3: 90%
U4: 74% (oops)
Exam: around 100/120
Is a 40 possible?
U may need to raise that to 108 to net a 40. 112 would be a comfortable 40

Got 73 - 74 /80 on exam 2
38 on exam 1
Sac 1 average 45% got 85%
Sac 2 average 50% got 70%
Sac 3 average 60% got 95%

What study score should I be expecting assuming 2015's exam distribution
Thanks
(I don't know how to predict my score looking at the exam distribution lol)
well imo about a 40-42

Economics:
Rank 1 in an average cohort (top 7 are relatively strong but rest are average/low)
Unit 3: 82% (average is around 60-65%)
Unit 4: 92% (average is around 70%)
Exam: 90% (72/80) ?

Study score predictions? Is a raw 40 possible? Thanks  :)

This is all just with last years grade distribution - if you're confident that you know which way it's changed this year then assume this will be a little higher/lower depending on which way it changed.

Physical Education

Cohort: Very strong
Unit 3: 81% (Rank 3)
Unit 4: 91.6% (Rank 1)
Exam: 85-90%

Thank you!  ;D :)
39-42

Economics:
Rank 1 in an average cohort (top 7 are relatively strong but rest are average/low)
Unit 3: 82% (average is around 60-65%)
Unit 4: 92% (average is around 70%)
Exam: 90% (72/80) ?

Study score predictions? Is a raw 40 possible? Thanks  :)
You're around the 40 mark. It's possible you'll get a 40, but I'd say it's only probable if either someone did better than you on the exam (because your sacs would then scale higher than the numbers i'm using). or if the grade distribution changes in a way that benefits you. Otherwise you'll probably get 38/39.\

Methods predict study score
SAcS:55%
Exam one: 45%
Exam two: 25%

Rank four in a moderate cohort
Mid 20s.

Specialist Maths

Stuffed up my SACs throughout the year (don't think they will scale up) == 80%, top 40% ranking in average cohort
Exam 1 = 35/40

How many marks do I need to get on Exam 2 for a raw 38 (if that is still even possible)?
You'd need at least a low A+ (assuming sacs stay where they are). So something at least a couple of marks above 142/160 (assuming last years grade distribution).

Can someone predict study score:

Cohort (Moderate)
Rank around 4
51% Unit 3 (I dint get this but this is the practice exam result for the person ranked above me)
61 Unit 4
92% Exam

Is it a raw 40?
What subject?

Hey this is mine and a friend's SAC and (approximate) exam results for Methods, can someone do a rough prediction for both of us pls?

Below average cohort (~250 in the state)
SACs: 92%, rank 1
Exam 1: 36/40
Exam 2: 65-68/80
Around 39/40 assuming you did the best on the exam.

Select entry cohort (MHS)
SACs: 88%, rank 5-10
Exam 1: 40/40
Exam 2: 72-75/80

Cheers!
43-45 assuming sacs scale to a similar percentile to the average of the exams (ie assuming they were the same rank on the exams as they were on the sacs).

Hey Phoenix Fire,
For Chemistry what exam score do you think I'll need for a 40SS? Ranked above average in a strong cohort
GA1 - 82%
GA2 - 88%
GA3 - getting mid-high 80's on practice exams

Thanks

Unit 4 average: 99%
Practice exams did prior to the exam: 85%-95%

Further Mathematics:
Unit 3 average: 80%
Unit 4 average: 805
Exam 1: approx 88%
Exam 2: approx 90%

Unit 4 average: 84%

Exam: 88%-93%

Strong cohort I think (MHS)
Using just your exam, 39-42. If I include your sacs as they are, it's more in the area of 37-39. I'd expect that your sacs will be moderated up and that the first prediction will be more accurate.

3086's prediction seems accurate to me.

Health and Human Development:
Unit 3 average: 95%
Unit 4 average: 99%
Practice exams did prior to the exam: 85%-95%

Further Mathematics:
Unit 3 average: 80%
Unit 4 average: 805
Exam 1: approx 88%
Exam 2: approx 90%
HHD: 42-46, probably closer to the 46 side unless your sacs scale down.
Further: 38-40. I didn't use your sacs for this prediction because they're almost 2 grades below your exam marks so they'll likely scale up and I can't predict how much. If your sacs don't scale up the whole two grade difference then this prediction will be too high.

For physics (Strong cohort- person ranked above me averaged 99%)

Unit 3- 85% (Rank 3)
Unit 4- 90% (Rank 2)
Exam- 92%

Will that be enough for a 44? Or do I need to increase my projected score in the exam?
