How do you prepare for this subject when u don't even know what your fiirst topic is going to be?

Methods is quite easy to prepare for. Don't worry about what your school will be doing first, it will most likely be on functions (linear, quadratic, cubic, all the polynomials, trigonometric, exponential, etc.) Even if they don't do that first, it will give you solid grounding required for the rest of the topic.

here's a free piece of advice

don't bother putting together a thesis of notes for exam 2, i used them once just to check an equation

you are better off trying to put to heart equations and ways of tackling particular types of questions

anyways, best of luck  :)
