psychology essay?

hiya AN'ers,
so for our final SAC my class has to write an essay on the factors that increase or decrease the stress response.
I already know how the social and cultural factors affect it but the only one i am having trouble on are environmental factors.
I get how overcrowing, pollution, loud noise etc all increase the stress response, but i have no idea what enviro factors can decrease the stress response.

also how would you define a social factor?  :o
