Access Melbourne and bridging course

Hi.
My school qualifies for access Melbourne however I don't do any maths.

I was wondering if say I got a 80 atar for guaranteed entry into arts access Melbourne but I want to major in economics (and as I don't currently do maths) can I still do the bridging course to meet the prequesite of maths methods for the economics major. Same question for commerce at 88 (probably not getting that though).

I can't seem to find an answer to this anywhere and since your atar is valid for two years I don't see why not unless the year of bridging removes you from being elidgble for access Melbourne due to studying at Melbourne and not my school for that year, however the atar did come from school study?

I am currently lost and suffering from poor subject and schooling choices in my previous years of study (doing media instead of maths lol) and not looking into university's and careers I would like until this year....
