Hey, I'm looking to satisfy the requirements for the masters in chemical engineering at Unimelb through my biomedical science degree (class of 2018) at monash. The prereqs are first year chemistry (done) and 'first year mathematics, specifically in calculus 2 and linear algebra'. I am doing mth1020 now, but I'm unsure of which subjects are equivalent to first year calc 2 and linear, when I search these in the handbook I only get second year units. Ask.monash wasn't much help, anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Calculus 2, I think refers to either, MTH1030/ MTH1035 or MTH2010/MTH2015.
Linear Algebra, I think refers to MTH2021/ MTH2025. There are no first year equivalents I know of for linear algebra, but it might be expected with different unis.
Not too sure. Since they count under Science, I would go and check out the Science Student Services (19 Rainforest Walk, Clayton campus, iirc?) or Biomed Student Services about it.
VCE: Psych | Eng Lang | LOTE | Methods | Further | Chem
Uni: Bachelor of Science (Hons) - genetics

Any ideas about doing a bachelors in engineering? Monash offer the chemical stream for engineering as an undergrad degree.
2015: VCE
2016: BCivEng(Hons)/BCom at MU
