I met up with a bunch of high school friends for dumplings last night. There were probably like 15 of us there. It's the first time I've seen some of them in years, and I think I actually feel closer to them than I did during high school? It's like there's some sorta bond there as a result of shared experience?

I dunno, it's really different not seeing people every day. Anyway, it made me think of this thread. What do other people think? :)

Isn't that nostalgic though, just remembering all the good times in high school, man I would just be sad, but also excited at the same time

Yeah, it's definitely nostalgic! Was actually quite unusual last night, as in many ways it felt like nothing had changed at all (like, the social dynamic was very similar).

Oxford comma, Garamond, Avett Brothers, Orla Gartland enthusiast.

I feel like I've got a couple of friends from like different social groups

I've got a few friends from primary school which I try to keep in touch with regularly.
I have my friends from high school which I try to see on a weekly basis
I have friends from uni which I try to see often.
I've got family friends. I rarely see them but we still make an effort to catch up.
It will be interesting to see how this change over time and going to the same uni helps a lot.
