Not sure what the weather is like over in Vic, but Sydney wide it's 30+ degrees right now and verrrrrry nice. I really did not want to deal with today, knowing the extreme back log of work I have to catch up on. But as I walked to the library I saw a nice little spot in the shade but still very warm, and that is where I am right now. I'm very grateful to live somewhere with weather so beautiful.
I beg to disagree :P. I was sweating my {insert word}  off in a suit, tie, blazer and black pants hahaha

I'm in the sun with my favourite chocolate (only $3 at Woolworths at the moment - Cadbury's new Milk/Dark Raspberry) and a bottle of water, and working on the lecture series. Chill, A.F.

Good weather makes a huge difference to my mood. I feel so much luckier, freer, energised, etc.

Good weather

That weather sounds abominable.  I really find it hard to cope with hotter weather.

You sweat and overheat even when relaxing, exercise is much harder and less enjoyable, walking places is awful, the brightness destroys your eyes and mood, clothing is an issue (given that I'm required to dress in certain ways and often need long sleeves), and everything is just on an overbright, higher-anxiety level, with no pleasant calm cool grey days to relax you.

Whereas winter... you snuggle in warm coats and blankets and have hot soup and read in front of the fire and enjoy exercising to warm yourself up and have deliciously cold wind whip against your face and curl up tight at night and cuddle things when you're anxious so you don't get anxiety or panic attacks much and enjoy the beautiful calm greyness and <3 <3 <3

Thank you for listening. I hope I have converted you all to the right and proper definition of "good weather". ;)

deliciously cold wind
How the heck is cold wind a good thing haha? I just came from an attempted training session, and the wind was absolutely shit. Not to mention the stupid rain cancelling training. Can't wait for this weather to change.

EDIT: Just realised this is the gratitude thread, so I should probs stop ranting about the weather.  :P

im so grateful for my parents. they're so selfless, generous and supportive. they do things that your friends won't even do. they go above and beyond just to support me. even though i'm a lil shit at times, they always forgive me in the end. its not often i express my gratitude for my parents, because they're always there. but it hits me that they're getting old too. where would i be without them? who knows.

I'm grateful to my school's distance ed coordinator for not pushing me on why I've only done 4 weeks of Unit 4 English Language work and instead trying to help me catch up :) You know that feeling when you've been worrying constantly all day (since she said we needed to talk) and then its okay and you're so relaxed? Yeah that's how I feel now.

Last night a friend picked me up when he finished work at midnight and we got McDonalds and sat at a look out in Kurrajong for two hours and talked and laughed. I was feeling down in the afternoon, and told him not to bother by midnight because I was so tired, but he insisted. He dropped me home at 3 and went on his merry way to pick up other friend's from a party and I went to sleep with a little smile. And I woke up today feeling happier (and more productive!) than any other day this week, even with slightly reduced sleeping hours.

I'm very thankful for people who give up their time, or sacrifice a few hours of sleep, to spend time with their friends when they think they need it. It makes me want to be a better friend as well.

I'm surprised this has less if not more posts for "Things that shit me".

What I'm grateful for currently is having unoffical extension for two assignments.

When people notice your mistakes or whatever, and just tell you subtly as to not draw attention to them, but to let you know so you can address it.

I'm grateful that I have my "shit" together.
[size=4pt I hope that didn't just jinx me [/size].

Oh, the irony of that coding mishap. 😂

Edit: Thanks Nick :P
Context: I was told this by a fair few people recently and i decided to do some digging into what I have done over the previous 2 years. I recognised the progress I made in many things i struggled heavily with like talking to new people, being assertive, stressing over everything , smiling and many, many other things.

I'm grateful to my friends for being fucking ballers. Context is that I was pretty down a few days ago, so they drove to my house, picked me up, and took me to one of their houses so I could play with their Golden Retriever (we're best buds), because they knew that'd fix it. It most certainly did fix it.
